I’m guest posting over at (In)Courage today and would love to have you pop over for a visit by clicking here.
Yesterday, I had the privilege to hear my pastor, Steven Furtick, speak at a business seminar.
I especially love that I can attend business meetings all day with the amazingly smart people while my dress is on backwards and they just smile and love me anyways. Of course, had I know my dress was on backwards I would have fixed it. But, alas the whole day scooted right by before I realized this small little factoid.
I am such a fashionista.
Anyhow, I thought I’d just share a few of the amazing quotes from my pastor’s business sermon yesterday.
“If the size of the vision for your life isn’t intimidating to you, chances are it’s insulting to God.”
“Sometimes God allows us to see the miracle. Sometimes God allows us to BE the miracle.”
“If you are going to ask God to make the sun stand still, you better be prepared to march all night.”
This one was to the single guys in the room but it made me laugh so hard I snorted… “If you want to meet a godly girl, don’t be going down to the club on Thursday night. Put some product in your hair and go serve on the greeter’s committee at church.”
“When you do what you can do, then God will do what only He can do.”
I love quotes.
And I love dresses that can be worn both ways. Never mind the tag stitching totally giving away my secret.
And I love giving away prizes… The winner of yesterday’s 5 book giveaway is…Becky J. !! Please email Holly@Proverbs31.org to claim your books!
If you live in, around, or near Tulsa, OK, I will be speaking at the Mabee Center on March 4-5. I would be so honored to meet you at my book table! Please click here for more info on this amazing event.
Happy Wednesday y’all.
