    Hi Lysa,
For 3 years now I have led a moms study group using your material. We have all loved it and it has been so amazing to see these moms grow.
I am asking you with a loving heart to please stay in the boundaries of God’s Word. With so much liberal evangelical theology, it seems many are headed towards the emerging church movement, contemplative spirituality and the Rob Bell type of teaching.
I pray you will stand strong in the Lord and in His might.
    Thanks for your time.

Lysa, I’m currently reading your book, “The Best Yes” and finding some challenges to what you have shared. You discuss our need to discern rather than choose our gut instincts to drive our decisions (referring to chapter 4). Then on page 41 you state, “That daily stuff-those responsibilities that seem more like distractions-those things we want to rush and just get through to get on with the better and bigger assignments of life-those things that are unnoticed places of service? They are the very experience from which we unlock the riches of wisdom. We’ve got to practice wisdom in the everyday places of our lives. I feel confused because if we choose to let our experiences unlock the riches of wisdom then isn’t that intuition? What about being present with God in centering prayer, fasting, reading His Word, and quiet time? Aren’t those the ways in which we discern wisdom, not by trying harder to find wisdom in the stuff of life? I’m not sure the wisdom of God is found in everyday stuff unless we are pursuing Him first for discernment. How do you measure “good decisions”? There’s no mention of God’s role in this. Maybe I am misunderstanding your point. Thank you for allowing me to share.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I am listening to you on Focus on the Family’s Wednesday podcast “Finding peace in the midst of Mommy stress”. I had to press pause 10 minutes in to google you and send you a message. Thank you for your honesty, for putting yourself in a vulnerable position in order to bring help to many. Thank you for being a real voice of real mommys who love Jesus & loose it sometimes. I thank God for Grace, learning, growing, opportunities to do better and serve my family better and of course the reason for this email, your voice of truth. God bless you in your ministries. You are doing good work.

Hi, Lysa! I am the administrative assistant to the small groups ministry team at my church. It is my blessing and privilege to occasionally visit various groups (we have 96) and immerse myself in their current studies. A Sunday morning group called “Women of the Word” is just finishing up your study called “Unglued” and I was able to be part of that. What a blessing this has been to this group of ladies, and also to me personally! Thank you for sharing your insightful perspectives, relevant applications, personal stories, and Biblical input. In just the few weeks that I have been sitting in on their meetings, I have seen the group experience significant spiritual growth and an honest effort to be transparent and authentic. Lysa, you have been blessed with a Godly approach to the issues and concerns facing women today. I am thankful for your faithfulness to the Lord’s call on your life and I have seen the fruit of that commitment in the lives of these women I am privileged to call my sisters. I am sure that they would join me in sending gratitude for sharing your heart and the love of Jesus as he manifests it in your life. We are the thankful beneficiaries of your words and your honesty. We now seek to go out and “re-present” Jesus to others! We are on the journey of “imperfect progress” and so glad to be traveling the road with you. Thank you and God bless you, Lysa! (If you are able to spare a moment for a response, I would be delighted to share it with the group when I meet with them for the last time on March 8th. Thanks so much!)

I was wondering if there was going to be (maybe) a private Facebook page for people on the trip. I would love to start getting to know some of the people coming as well as ask questions about what everyone is packing, how they are preparing, etc… Just wondering.
