Week Of Giveaways Grand Finale

Happy Friday! I hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving with your friends and family.

I also hope that you’ve managed to escape the bargain-hunting crowds today. I was not going anywhere near Target, for fear of being trampled.

But then I just had to go.

I survived. I got a deal. And all is well.

To end my week of giveaways, I want to offer you a chance to win some copies of three books written by my dear friends Karen Ehman, Lynn Cowell, and Tracie Miles.

Karen’s book, Let. It. Go: How To Stop Running the Show and Start Walking in Faith
Description: The housework. The meals. The kids. Many women are wired to control. But trying to control everything can be exhausting, and it can also cause friction with your friends and family.

This humorous, yet thought-provoking book guides you as you discover the freedom and reward of living a life “out of control,” in which you allow God to be seated in the rightful place in your life.

Lynn’s book, His Revolutionary Love: Jesus’ Radical Pursuit of You
Description: (Book for young girls/teenagers) Look inside and discover Jesus’ radical pursuit of you. Loaded with real stories from real girls, His Revolutionary Love:

– Declares how crazy Jesus is for you

– Helps you replace loneliness, rejection, and pain with revolutionary relationship, acceptance, and grace

– Challenges you to make decisions based on the right kind of love, not what feels right in the moment

Tracie’s book, Stressed-Less Living: Finding God’s Peace in Your Chaotic World
Description: Stressed-Less Living unpacks the truth found in Scripture about how to overcome fear, anxiety, and uncertainty, and shows the stressed-out woman how she can not only survive stress, but thrive in spite of it, through faith in the promises of God.

I’m so excited to tell you about these timely books that would not only be a great investment for yourself, but would also make wonderful gifts for friends.

Today, I’m giving away 2 copies of each book. If you’d like to be entered to win, leave a comment below telling me which book you’re interested in and why you want to read it.

And I have even more good news! If you use a Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Apple, or Sony Reader – My book, What Happens When Women Say Yes to God (eBook version), will have a special price of only $2.99 now through Monday.

Fun! Fun!

Enjoy your turkey sandwich, good deals, and precious time with family and friends. And don’t forget to leave a comment below for your chance to win free books.

All winners from this week of giveaways will be announced Monday. If you missed the other days click here and here.

  1. Emily Valentino says

I’d love to read Let. It. Go. Because I most definitely am a “do it all” kind of woman. I have extremely high expectations of myself and value (in myself and others) productivity. It is a hard lesson to learn that working full time, two kids, hubby, house, and a dog is (gasp!) too much to be done perfectly!

  2. Tina says

    Hi Lysa,

I’d love to win Let.It.Go. I’m already doing Karen’s 5 day challenge and I really need help in relinquishing my controlling behaviors towards my family. Thanks, Tina

  3. Kelly Woodson says

Due to the circumstances of my childhood I too am a control freak. I am trying to find God in a world of materialism and selfishness. I have children and want to show by example how a woman of the Most High God should live. I am hungry.. Hungry for His Words and path for my life.

  4. Andrea says

I need to read Tracie’s book about Stress-Free Living.
I want to “thrive in spite of my stress,” but I don’t know how to do that!
Thank you for giving us this opportunity to possibly win this book!

  5. Sheila says

I am interested in the book Sress Free Living. Stress can be manifested by control issues and the super mom, super wife, super employee attitude. I can’t be all things to all people, but where do you draw that line? My prayer goal is to be more vigilant about praying or reading inspiration things throughout the day. I feel I get started off with good intentions, but a mid day boost or reenergizing is what I need to keep on track. At the end of the day I look back and tend to focus on what didn’t get done. I feel that I need intentions to draw on throughout the day to keep me going.

  6. Melanie says

All three books sound great, but I think the one that I need to read the most right now at this time in my life would be Karen’s book Let. It. Go.!!! That’s something I need to learn to do!! Thanks for this opportunity for a chance to win it!

  7. Shawna says

I think either Karen or Tracie’s book would be great for me. I have been very stressed lately but I think Karen’s book would be inspirational.

  8. Rhonda says

I would love a copy of Let.It.Go and His Revolutionary Love.
Let.It.Go-for myself. To help me continue to walk with God one step at a time and continue to pick up the broken pieces and not let go of His Hand again.
Revolutionary Love-for Kris (my future daughter in law). She is 18, lives with her dad. Her mom isn’t in the picture a lot and she and I have been bonding the last couple of months. I would love for her to see, at age 18, that she doesn’t have to have the world’s approval to feel valued. She is pursued by the One that wants to give her all she will ever need to walk this life. Looking back, I realize that God was there the whole time. I would love for her to see that at such a young age and not begin to see it in her 40’s.

  9. says

I’d like a shot at winning Sress Free LivingI work a full-time 40 hour day job, then a 20-23 part-time job as a personal trainer/pilates instructor, I go to Liberty University online pursuing my degree in Psychology, I’m in the process of getting my life coaching career off the ground, I’m maintaining a relatively new relationship, and my Mom lives with me. i sure could use a little less stress!!!!! Or a longer work day…. or be able to not sleep… or maybe a cup of tea and a nap?!?!?!? 🙂

  10. Susan says

I want to read is Revolutionary Love: Jesus’ Radical Pursuit of You. I have a young daughter, and this gift would be perfect because I don’t want to wait until she’s a teenager to start thinking about how to equip her with God’s word. We recently started praying with her every evening for our extended family and her friends and teachers and she remembers many of the (she is only 21 months old!). That was eye opening for me because I think I underestimated her ability to develop her spiritual roots to just reading Bible stories to her every night. I’m so excited to continue to work with her in the coming years to build those roots and pray that she will one day accept Christ and desire to serve him fully!

  11. says

It was just yesterday I found myself getting frustrated by all the things that I needed to get done. My daughter saw my frustration and offered the following advice….”let it go”. I would be thrilled to get Karen’s book Let it Go.

  12. says

Any book that helps grow your faith and provides amazing personal growth and developement is a great book. UNGLUED is truely one of the best books I have read.. I love the author and her ability to be so real. Awesome!

  13. Teresa says

My daughter is reading your book Unglued and shared it with me as my daughter is like me. So thank you very much for sharing with us and changing lives.

  14. says

I need the let it go book. I have so many balls in the air right now and am struggling with letting God take over the reigns. Some days I make progress and some days I fail miserably. Thank you, lysa for putting your heart out there. Through total transparency you reach so many who need to hear from Jesus girls who don’t always have it all figured out. Blessings to you. Paige

  15. Jordan says

I would LOVE to have Karen’s Book Let. It. Go. I am finding myself in a constant battle with time. I work a full time job and I am working on my master’s degree, all while my husband is also in full time school and work. We also have a two year old daughter who doesn’t understand the time conflict (oh to be in her shoes! :)). Due to our schedules, I work days, he works nights. We do have weekends together, but I find myself worrying more about cleaning the house and little things getting done rather than spending my little bit of time with family. I rely on a good sense of humor between my husband and myself to get us to those weekends, but I would love some Biblical tips on how to let it go!

  16. collette says

  17. Margie says

After my husband retired from the Air Force this year Stressed was at the top of the list. But we have found comfort in God to lead the rest of our lives. This doesn’t mean we wont have stress but we’re letting God guide our ways more than ever now!

  18. Cindy Miller says

I would love reading these books. I love your emails. They are so encourging. Sometimes it’s what lifts my day when I have had a bad day at work. Thanks, Cindy
