We’ve Saved A Spot For You!

Lysa is having a special day with her family, so some of us on her team thought we’d take this chance to announce something fun on her blog today.

Would you like to have a chance to read some of Lysa’s upcoming book, Unglued before everyone else? Based on the overwhelming response to last week’s giveaway for some pre-release copies, we thought you might!

We’ve decided to open up some more spots for those interested in joining Lysa’s book release team called, “In the Loop Group.”

This is a group of people who want to help get the word out about her new books. It’s a fun group with extra special perks!

All you have to do to become a member is sign up. Then we’ll send you email updates with suggested activities.

If you have an interest in knowing about Lysa’s books first and helping spread the word during release time, we’d love to have you join us!

This year we have lots of fun things in store for those that help us with Lysa’s upcoming release, Unglued-Making Wise Choices In the Midst of Raw Emotions.

The release date is Tuesday, August 7th. Our office is a buzz with excitement over this new message. But, there are a lot of things that need to be done during the months of July and August to get the word out about this book.

Don’t worry. The activities are fun and simple but they’ll make a big difference! Some examples of the activities are “Tweet it up Tuesdays” where you’ll tweet quotes from Unglued. Or “Facebook Fridays” where you’ll post on your Facebook something interesting you just read from her upcoming book. We’ll send you a schedule explaining all the activities and when to do them.

So, I bet you’re wondering how you can do activities like tweet and Facebook about a book you haven’t read? Great question! You see, this is one of the PERKS of being a part of the “In the Loop Group.” We’re going to email you several chapters of her new release before it releases!

That’s right, you get to see it before anyone else does. Therefore, you are officially kept “in the loop.”

Fun, right?

And there are other perks in store for the “In the Loop Group!” Things like exclusive access to videos that Lysa will record just for this group and special conference calls with Lysa.

And for our most active members, you’ll get a chance to win back stage passes and dinner with Lysa at one of her conferences.

So, are you ready to be “In the Loop Group?” Just click here to sign up.

The winners from last week’s book giveaway are: Lisa Christensen, Kim De Jager, and Dorothy Benford. Please email Jennie@Proverbs31.org to claim your prize.

I would share this book with my 21 year old daughter. She is currently going through a divorce with two small children, ages 3 and 15 months. To date she is working and providing for herself and the children without their daddy’s help. We, my husband and I, are trying to be there for her as best we can. Sharing this book could help us to grow in the Lord and closer to each other with more compassion and love for each other.

I am currently going through one of the roughest times in my life; my husband of 35 years just left me and the video of Pete’s really touched my heart. We must stay in the word every day and in prayer. Life is hopeless without God.

Love comes in many forms, and through many faces. Though I am married, the love that touches me the most comes from my children. The hand holding of my daughter, who- despite being in the midst of the drama-inducing tween years- reminds me that I’m still her mommy. The glow of my older son’s face when we have “date-night.” My younger son’s gentle kiss, and his newest artwork: my face in a little heart.
Love also comes through the nudging of a little wet nose of one who knew that his time in a North Carolina dog pound was up, and he was dangerously close to the gas chamber. He worships me the way we all should worship God.

Okay, this is weird. I wrote the above comment based on the prompt of something like, “How does your husband, family, friends, show love?”

I just read how this second is awaiting the book UNGLUED.

Though I am also looking forward to the book, I don’t know how I got here. My apologies.

In a nutshell I received and e-mail for this book, I prayed, cried, begged for a miracle in my marriage, my daughters marriages and relationships with others. I honestly believe God answered and I will be getting these books even if I don’t get the free ones to read with my daughters. And you bet I will be reading in bed and will wake my husband up with the ahh moment that God has answered our prayers with. He is alive and living amoungst us and we need to be quiet and listen and know he is there for us.

  20. 22

    The bullet I chose was
    * Find peace in your most difficult relationships as you learn to be honest but kind when offended.
I have a lot going on right now, and my frustration levels are beginning to show. so I have to guess that I am not turning enough of them over to God in prayer.
I could use some tools. I really don’t want to lie to keep the peace, and there has to be a way to speak the truth in love. Also if I am offended, then my walk with God is not what it needs to be. If I love God and he is in me, why am I taking offense at anything?
    sincerely,
    EJ

I would love to have a copy of Unglued. I have a special needs daughter and another teenage daugther and sometimes I need a little “extra” help in deciding what to do in certain situations and I think your book can help me. I receive your blogs and they are so uplifting. Very thankful I signed up for them. God Bless You!!! PS: I can’t wait to read your book. So, excited.

I am in the middle of reading Love & Respect and trying to reconcile my marriage. My husband and I have been separated for over a year and, though it seems impossible that we can reconnect, I finally see our relationship, past and future, through God’s eyes. I have finally been able to accept responsibility for my part in the breakdown of our relationship. I feel God calling me to be the woman He created me to be and I finally trust that by being faithful to His call it will call out the man my husband was created to be. I would love to read through this with my friend Jessica who is also struggling to save her marriage and to balance being a stay at home mom of a 3 year old and a 1 1/2 year old. We are both in the process of letting God reshape our lives as mothers and wives and are hungry for the inspiration he shares with us along the way. Thank you for this opportunity!

Lysa, I am listening to you on KLOVE at this very moment!!! I love hearing your stories as a mom. I too, have a daughter. My daughter, Jennifer, will be getting married in just 2 weeks…. That is causing me and her as well to become unglued!!! I keep asking God to help us enjoy this very special time in our lives. He is giving me such a peace as I make 200 chocolates, wedding centerpieces, preparations and the list continues…. LOL Enjoy your daughter, treasure your stories, like her asking for your help carrying things in the pouring rain!!! God is sooooooooooooo good to bless us with our children. They grow much too quickly. I ask His blessings upon you and your family.

    God bless,

    Tess :0 )

just stumbled onto this site. Have no idea if a free book is still ave. or not.
Even though I am in my fifties my life right now is so hectic and feels like there really is not much glue left at times.
I think I need to read this book.
