I am guest posting over at (in)courage today. To read that article click here.
Thank you for the kind words and beautiful expressions of thanksgiving left in the comments of yesterday’s blog, “Vanished.”
Your comments daily stir my heart. I sneak little moments throughout the day to read your thoughts and feel so honored you’d take time to write.
I treasure you- my blog friends. We gather and do a little bit of life together in this small space on the internet. And I truly love meeting you here.
Do you ever wish we all lived in the same town and could meet up at a quaint coffee place? I do. You could get coffee. And I would get the high maintenance order that’s all skim milk and just a drop of coffee. Because I’m a big girl and like the feel of the sleeved grande cup in my hand thank you very much.
Anyhow, meeting with you sounds blissful. But a few small details stand in the way of that. Location. Schedules. Life realities. They all say, “no.”
So, I got to thinking, which is always a dangerous endeavor, how can we get around all the obstacles of meeting? After all, “no” doesn’t always have to be “no.” Sometimes it can mean that more information is needed. Except if you are a TerKeurst child reading this. Then no means no- amen.
Anyhow, some of you might remember the little webcast I did back in January when “Made to Crave” released. Well, (insert a little trumpet announcement noise) I’ve decided to pick a new topic, invite some new guests and do another FREE one night webcast.
Hold on, I am standing on my chair doing quite the impressive dance moves.
Okay, I’m back.
But you are going to want to join me in dancing when you hear who is joining me: Ann Voskamp! Ann’s the author of a little book you might have heard of that’s been on every best seller list there is for months called, “One Thousand Gifts.”
Never has there been a more precious soul who calls herself a farm hick, than my amazing friend Ann. Ann without the fanciful “e” as she says. Ann who dares souls to dance, hearts to believe, and minds to believe personal holiness is possible.
Yes, that beautiful Ann who comes in with a whisper but elicits a thunderous applause from those who hear her.
The theme for this free one hour webcast is “Yes to God.” Oh friend, don’t miss this night. This will be the fresh igniting your soul is craving. And I can promise the only regret you’ll have is not inviting more of your friends to tune in with you.
So, pull out your paper calendar (wink, wink) or techo schedule thingy and put a big red circle on Tuesday, September 6th at 8pm EST.
Sign up here to let us know you’ll be joining us. We’ll send you a reminder, replay information, and also register you to win some great gifts too.
Just one night — just one hour — you don’t want to miss it. Yes to God!
